Madrigal Communications believes strongly in the importance of civil society and the importance of businesses demonstrating corporate social responsibility (CSR). This includes taking into account the needs of employees, customers, suppliers, and the community, nation and world that we operate in.
Sustainability responsibilities
Madrigal’s environmental and social responsibilities include taking steps to reduce our carbon footprint and minimise our impact on the environment.
As many of our team our trained in science we also feel we have an obligation to promote sustainability initiatives to reduce the real threats of climate change and dwindling natural resources.
Smart Energy Council
Madrigal is a member of the Smart Energy Council (SEC) is an organisation that works to promote sustainable energy practices and technologies, with a focus on renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power.
SEC works with governments, industry, and communities to help create a more sustainable energy future by developing policies, programs and initiatives to drive the growth of the renewable energy sector. SEC also provides education and training to help individuals and organisations understand the benefits of sustainable energy and how to implement it in their operations.
NSW Nature Conservation Council
Director, Tim Entwisle, has contributed his expertise to the NSW Nature Conservation Council in reviewing environmental planning documentation in the past. He has personally led donations to the NSW Nature Conservation Council of over a $1,000 in the last two years.
Social responsibilities
Madrigal’s social responsibilities include taking steps to support human rights and social justice causes and promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR)
The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) is an organisation that works to protect and support refugees and other displaced people around the world. The UNHCR provides life-saving assistance such as shelter, food, and medical care to people who have been forced to flee their homes due to conflict, persecution, or other reasons.
Madrigal Communications supports the UNHCR by making an annual financial contribution and supporting fundraising events to improve the lives of some of the most vulnerable people in the world and promote human rights.
Amnesty International
Amnesty International is a global human rights organisation that works to protect and promote the rights of individuals and communities around the world.
Madrigal Communications supports Amnesty’s advocacy of a wide range of human rights issues, particularly freedom of expression and right to a free press, as well as gender equality, and the rights of refugees and migrants.
Madrigal Communications supports Amnesty International by making a financial contribution, and by adopting ethical policies and practices that align with the Amnesty’s human rights principles. We support the principles of the Modern Slavery Act.
Sponsorship of local community organisations
Madrigal Communications has previously sponsored the Briars Rugby Club with a $5,000 donation to the Old Boys Foundation and $5,000 per year in kind sponsorship (total of $20K).
The Briars Rugby Club is a local sports club that provides the opportunity for children, teenagers, and adults in the community to participate in the sport of rugby. Through the sponsorship, Madrigal provided financial support to the club used to purchase new equipment, cover the costs of facilities, and support the development of the players. We had the opportunity to be a part of the local community and to have a positive impact on the lives of the young people who are involved in the club.
Economic responsibilities
One of the key aspects of corporate social responsibility is our economic responsibility. This includes creating jobs and fostering economic growth, being a responsible taxpayer, and operating in an ethical and transparent manner. We use our economic power to support local communities through charitable giving and philanthropy.

The Australia-British Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) is a non-profit organisation that promotes trade and investment between Australia and the United Kingdom. The organisation works to strengthen business ties between the two countries by providing networking opportunities, market intelligence, and advocacy services to its members. The ABCC also works to advocate for policies and regulations that promote trade and investment between Australia and the United Kingdom.
Parramatta Chamber of Commerce
The Parramatta Chamber of Commerce (PCC) is a non-profit organisation that represents the interests of businesses and entrepreneurs in the Parramatta region. The organisation works to promote economic growth and development in the area by providing networking opportunities, market intelligence, and advocacy services to its members.
The Sydney Business Chamber (SBC)
The Sydney Business Chamber (SBC) is a non-profit organisation that represents the interests of businesses and entrepreneurs in the Sydney region. The organisation works to promote economic growth and development in the area by providing networking opportunities, market intelligence, and advocacy services to its members.
